I am freelance, tried to get coverage through Blue Cross/Blue Shield, they turned me down because I had a pre-existing condition….I’m anemic. Many women are anemic due to menstruation. Sad state of affairs.
It is sad, Alberta, but not everything that is sad necessarily justifies a government remedy. I am sure you agree that if it did there would be no end to it!
