I was born and raised Catholic, so I&#039;m a bit fuzzy on differences within Judaism. I do take some comfort in thinking that, whatever their differences, they&#039;re not prone to running down my street trying to kill me. That doesn&#039;t seem to be a Jewish thing.

I grew up in Jersey City, across the Hudson from Manhattan. Jews figure prominently there, but somehow I never felt endangered. Regrettably, they tend to be Communist, but nonviolent, I&#039;ll give them that.</description>
